This text examines how the emergence of graduate programs in social and human sciences articulates with the transformation of the University model, which implements a reduction of research requirements within the training academic process in undergraduate programs. It states that graduate research must also face the major changes taking place in the terms research is understood today in Colombia, a positioning dominated by the management and business logics in the university establishment.
