Future-Past: Historical Interpretation in the Era of Accelerationism and Artificial Intelligence
Main Article Content
This article analyzes how the acceleration of historical time, from the theoretical and methodological perspective of Reinhart Koselleck in Futures Past, and interdisciplinarity, reflects contemporary phenomena such as accelerationism, digital communication, and artificial intelligence (AI). The authors explore the connections between Koselleck’s theories on modernity and the transformations in the perception of contemporary time. The text concludes that Koselleck’s ideas are fundamental for understanding present-day tensions, where technology not only widens the gap between past and future but also questions humanity’s capacity to control its temporal destiny.
