This article examines the configuration of the Colombian National Police as a dispositif of heterosexuality, and the ways in which this dispositif is challenged by the homoerotic practices and lived experiences of one of its members. The author seeks to identify lines of flight and interstices that circumvent the institution’s imposition of heterosexuality, thereby making room for affective, sexual, and desire-based relationships of a homosexual nature. As a contribution to the field, the article aims to generate new knowledge on the articulation between homoeroticism, gender, and the armed forces in Colombia.
