Artifice, Artifact, Ruse

This article, based on the series of lectures given at the 18th São Paulo Biennial in 1985, explores the intersection between human creation and technology. The author analyzes how technological artifacts influence our perception of the world and how art and creativity can intervene in this process. The aim is to understand how humans interact with technology to shape their environment and culture. The conclusion drawn is that art and creativity are powerful tools for reflecting on our relationship with technology and its impact on society.
