Grey Zone: Imagination and Fabulatory Epistemology in Vilém Flusser
Main Article Content
This article aims to analyze Vilém Flussers practice of “philosophical fiction” as a form of fabulatory epistemology. Within a cybernetic framework, Flusser develops a theory of knowledge wherein art and science, knowledge and imagination, theory and fiction intertwine in such a way as to allow for a reconfiguration of perspective. This type of epistemology is the only one capable of confronting contemporary challenges. Through this, Flusser conducts a mental experiment that will find intellectual resonances in other contemporary projects, such as Manuel De Landas imaginative narratives.
