Main Article Content
This article explores the construction of masculinities among Colombian ex-combatants with experiences of homoeroticism in the contexts of armed groups (insurgent and paramilitary) and the state’s armed forces. The objective was to show how masculinity and homoeroticism are semantically captured in terms of desire within these military contexts. The article focuses on unveiling the strategies of control imposed by power and the tactics of resistance deployed by the subjects through their accounts of experience. The authors conclude that the narratives reveal bodily tactics of resistance that betray the fear and cruelty imposed.
