The Continuum of Sociopolitical Violence as Gender Necropolitics in Colombia
Main Article Content
The article seeks to problematize the continuum of socio-political violence that women have suffered within the gender necropolitics framework displayed in Colombia. To this end, the author highlights dispossession as a precedent, which makes the loss of the body and place of residence effective. It also determines which women deserve to live and which must die. These reflections arise from the National Movement of Victims of State Crimes (Movice) investigation process, which has sought to clarify the truth about the events in which women have been the victims. However, the text gives insights on the forms of agency towards the search for truth in the face of the imposed socio-political violence continuum.
