This article is a result of the research from the “Feges Project” which was created for Universidad Nacional de Colombia, based on an exploratory study of official statistics about the university’s student population in 2010. The text examines the differences regarding the access and the distribution of academic programs between men and women of the student population. It also analyzes the increasing exclusion affecting women, a tendency at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, which is in contrast with the higher education system of Colombia.
