On behalf of Sycorax: a tribute to Silvia Federici

Abstract

The article examines the work of the feminist thinker and activist Silvia Federici from the personal perspective of the authors, who follow her intellectual trajectory, especially the conceptual pillars, her political ideas, contributions and legacies. Thus, the text covers the work of Federici from her experience in war, domestic work, in her struggle for wages regarding domestic work, capitalist development and the struggle for the commons, which exalts her work as an activist.
