The text addresses the topic of the third generation of the Communication-Education field based on the findings of the research entitled “Practices of Common Communication- Education in Youth Organizations of Three Regions of Colombia,” in order to provide empirical and theoretical elements that show the reconfiguration of the communication-education field. Thus, in the second part, it states the purposes and methodology of the research, as well as the characteristics of the organizations that participated in the study. In closing, it presents the three categories that are reconfiguring the field from the popular studies, based on the existing results.
