Capitalism resounds in the heart of the jungle

This article connects the production of noise with global capitalism in an unprecedented method, a grouping that inluences the formation of the ecological “sound” footprint in Iquitos, the heart of the jungle. With the existence of this “footprint,” the rearticulation of the colonial regime of sonority is possible, the category that this research deals with. This text also shows a brief overview of the "Laboratory Iquitos" experience, a project that brings together diferent perspectives and ailiations that may not necessarily have a connection with the hegemonic category of art.
